The Standard Chartered Digital Banking, Innovation and Fintech Festival was curated as a thought leadership event and a platform for Government and key stakeholders including Fintechs to showcase Ghana’s digital infrastructure and the great strides Ghana has made on the national digitalization journey.

The 2- day hybrid event dubbed “Powering Africa’s Digital Economy: Platforms Players Policy” focuses on Africa’s digital transformation and aims to engage local and international players in the FinTech ecosystem, seasoned experts and practical FinTech innovators towards shaping strategies and policies as the continent drives towards a digitized financial ecosystem that is not only future proof but dynamic.

In collaboration with SC Venture (Innovation and Fintech Investment Unit of Standard Chartered), the Fintech Festival will bring together FinTechs from Singapore and other parts of Asia as well as Africa to showcase, engage and share future tech capabilities.

An innovative addition to this year’s event is the Connection Hub.                This is being set up for Start-Ups and Tech-prenuers and Ghana to network, meet and huddle with Fintech Executives and Investors in Asia, Europe and the Middle East with the overarching aim of creating sustainable partnerships for business and economic growth.

Objectives of the Connection/Business Partnership Hub

  • Partnership/Investment focused hub to drive new business relationships and investments
  • Business meetings between local Tech-preneurs and Investors, Business Leaders etc
  • Create lasting partnerships for business growth

The Festival scheduled for 26th & 27th October 2022 will be opened by H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and will include keynote addresses and panel discussions.
