The Ghana Fintech and Payments Association (GFPA) will in partnership with Africa Fintech Forum (AFF) host the maiden edition of the Francophone Fintech Summit in Accra, Ghana dubbed, “Understanding the Francophone Fintech Market ” on 12th May, 2023 at the Marriot Hotel in Accra.
The event aims to provide an opportunity for fintechs in Ghana and other West Africa Anglophone markets to gain insights into the emerging fintech market of Francophone West Africa.
Featuring panel discussions, keynote speeches, and interactive sessions focused on sharing knowledge and industry best practices to navigate the unique challenges of the Francophone fintech markets, the summit will also highlight the opportunities presented by the fast-growing economies of Francophone Africa, such as Ivory Coast, which has become a hub for digital innovation, attracting significant investment in the fintech sector through its average annual economic growth rate of 7% since 2012.
