After successful completion of Ghana’s first online professional certificate training course in Financial Technologies (FinTech), the Sam E. Jonah School of Business (AUCC), in partnership with Knowledge Innovations, has opened registration for 2nd Cohort of this course scheduled to run from October 23 to November 13, 2021, with three live sessions based on flexible learning model.
The course is designed for top management staff, senior executives from the financial sector, regulatory agencies, microfinance companies, credit unions, pension, FinTech companies, research institutions, and insurance companies. The course is structured to help participants critically explore complex FinTech problems with the viewpoint of providing them with constructs that can guide them to solutions.
The course will be delivered by top experts drawn from industry and academia who have come to the course with both in-depth theoretical and practical experiences to ensure participants’ learning journey is supported with the strategic insights needed for the success of a rapidly evolving FinTech industry. The faculty will help participants examine FinTech industry innovations, understand the intricacies of this fast-growing market space, and how they can take advantage of the FinTech revolution.
The course focuses on financial technologies and digital transformation, Fintech key trends and applications, FinTech legal and regulatory framework, technologies and innovations driving Fintech, digital payment, and emerging technologies driving Fintech.
In addition to course faculty, the participants will benefit from interaction with guest speakers made up of exceptional and world-class thought leaders. The 1st Cohort of the course, which took place from 23rd to June 26, 2021, successfully trained 22 industry players from the banking sector, regulatory agencies, insurance companies, micro credits companies, savings and loans firms, pension, and FinTech companies.
