The global head of the Swiss stock exchange SIX left in January seeking a new challenge. He has a new role at an Israeli «deeptech fintech» company. Thomas Zeeb was a member of the SIX Group’s executive board for 14 years, during which time he was a driving force in technological advancements in exchange trading and had a central role in the founding of the SIX Digital Exchange (SDX).Zeeb left the exchange operator at the end of January.
Zeeb is appointed to the board of directors of Israeli software company Fintica AI. The firm develops autonomous AI systems for the financial industry, billing itself as a «deeptech fintech company.» Among the tools it offers are predictive analytics and risk decision support systems for investment managers, financial market infrastructure, and digital stakeholders in multi-asset classes including equity, fixed income, and commodities.
Along with Zeeb, René Karsenti and Yanming Xiao are also appointed to the supervisory board. Karsenti is a consultant and ex-president of the International Capital Market Association (ICMA). Xiao is the president and CEO of Hong Kong-based asset manager Cornucopiae. She previously worked in Asia in wealth management at UBS and Credit Suisse and was also at Citi Bank and HSBC.Headquartered in Tel Aviv, Fintica AI has offices in Hong Kong, New York, Abu Dhabi, and Geneva.
